So, What were some of the recent projects that you worked on?
I just finished working on a film called Babel from the director of Amores Perros and 21 Grams. It takes place in Morocco, Japan, Mexico and California... four pretty amazing intertwined story lines. Before that I worked on Jarhead and I'm heading back to LA to start on Ocean's 13. I also try to pick up short films to edit whenever I can.

Alright people! The past couple days have been flying by! But for the most part, I met this interesting dude by the name of Taka.
Yup you guessed it, he’s from japan. Well anyways, he is a mad famous DJ in japan and known to music heads internationally. He mostly creates and spins house music for parties and clubs and so on and so forth but he also has put together a few CD’s under the name DJ JUZU aka MOOCHY. He spins all types of music from dancehall to jazz to techno to hip hop. Whatever he feels suits the vibe..... So while he was planning his trip to hawaii..... he knew that the great kids at RELAX MAG had mad island connections so he gathered his info and flew to hawaii. His first stop in beautiful hawaii was a birthday party on oahu(as all of you read in his previous name-link). Then he made his way to Moku o Keawe! During his shuffle of information with Relax magazine my name and number some how came into the mix.

At the back of the kicks/hi shop on makaloa there is this dude named jules along with his retail collection! Stop by and pick up some of his hawaii 5-0 meets stussy line named LEILOW! This is his Nike ID lab shoe..... Pretty craze color way with the army orange and the ninja turtle green but it perfectly fits the leilow persona! So check this street historian out and pay some bills to the makaloa boutique!

Start with the shoyu & ginger, scoop the rice then fish out a chunk of oxtail! Break it off, chew and swallow...... Thats an utopia combo for your mouth. Do this and your knee starts shakin like a dog you scratchin. Its optional to add the mac salad on the side or a fruit punch and so on.... But this Oxtail Soup offered at kam bowl in kalihi on the island in oahu is MEEEAN..... Make sure you don’t have a far drive after consumption! You just might be staring at your eyelids.....

I apologize about the lack in updates.... I took a small break from posting for the weekend. Headed up to oahu to check out the ohana and attend a dinner put on but the biggest dude i’ve ever met......Konishiki!!!! We’ve been working with konishiki to contribute his festival that he put on in hawaii this past week(ex. clothing, dancing/entertainment). To see him grind like 3-4 pounds of poke in less then a half hour was some amazing shit!!! But really, he is a super chill guy that is mad talented....... Plus he was wearing SigZane!

Heres your dude! On the plane again with some Na Hoku recap photos....Man I swear..... The hokus are just one big party! The awards ceremony was pretty satisfying, I was kinda hoping that lopaka/kaumakaiwa would win one more award... But thanks for the blessings that have been given this far. And of course the graphics division running had my attention! MAHALO to all the people that felt I should have been in the running and voiced it that lastnight(especially Scott johnson of dogtowne)! I give total props dogtowne for dominating and taking the crown for the graphic design division. Okay now on to the music..... The music was on some nostalgic shit! Aunty pua and kaumakaiwa took the stage about mid hokus and earned everyones applause by doing a traditional chant number. As every person would think, the hokus is a whoswho in the hawaiian music scene. Jack Johnson was laid back as usual, Ekolu had some custom k-swiss, had some conversation with Paula Fuga, Manu B. was in the scene,

Man.... This dog year has been tripping along day by day..... I’m thankful for all the people and projects that I’m involved with. For the first part of my life from birth to this minute, I lived my life blessed! Also I learned a million things from the people that surround me..... Mahalo to them for they predict my future! For the next part of my life from this minute on........ I’m far from done kids, my list of things to do is still forever long! Some of the things that are on the top of the dome today?
How do you keep window displays fresh? Art and function is the ultimate network, brings everyone together in such a eclectic and random way that when people do connect its the dopest common sense ever! know what i mean? like the apple+nike thing....
